Today's theme ... snack or treat. With all the snow we've had lately my husband has kept the bird feeder full of snacks for the little birds. I believe this is a house finch or a purple house finch.
I have no idea what type of bird this is, but I am glad you have kept them fed through this long winter. I like that you have caught him with his snack in his mouth
He looks pretty happy to have that treat in his bill. Nice shot! I'm not much of a bird person but I believe this is a purple finch....
