Today's theme ... the letter c. The letter c in this photo is the sandhill crane.  Taken from a distance, this crane has nested near by and is constantly on the move.

Today's theme ... yardwork.  Today's project was to put in the landscape rock around the flower beds.  Hopefully it will warm up soon so we can finish the project!

Today's theme ... restful.   How restful it must be to be an animal at the zoo.  This leopard is hanging out showing off his spots.

Today's theme ... shades of gray.  The shades of gray in the picture are perfect to show off this neon bright bird was on display at the zoo, not sure what kind of bird it is but it was sure fun to see.

Today's theme ... interaction.  The interaction between the two hawks was amazing.  Love this picture, was hoping it was not so blurry.

Today's theme ... together.  This pair of hawks have nested near by.  I was lucky enough to get a picture of them together.

Today's theme ... through a window.  This picture is actually taken through two windows. I don't think I could ever get this close to a crocodile if it weren't for the windows.

Today's theme ... statue.  According to my brother, tradition says you have to get your picture in front of the gorilla statue.  (More fun at the zoo...do you see a theme?)

Today's theme ... animal.  You guessed it, another animal  picture from the zoo.  The giraffes were licking the building, I can only guess that with the recent wind and rain storms there was a lot of salt on the buildling.

Today's theme ... bloom. Living in the mountains I don't have any blooms or blossoms yet.  I took this picture at the local zoo. More snow in the forecast today, hopefully we'll have blossoms and blooms real soon!

Today's theme ... joy.  My sister-in-law Joy and her son at the local Zoo.  Lots of animals at the zoo, too many fences to get really good pictures.

Today's theme ... wheel.  This wheel pulled a wagon circa World War I.  An amazing find at a historic farm.

Today's theme ... slam on the breaks.  I slammed on my breaks to get a picture of this shore bird.  They are hard to capture they scurry off quickly at the slightest sound.
