365 challenge -- slam on the breaks {268}

Today's theme ... slam on the breaks.  I slammed on my breaks to get a picture of this shore bird.  They are hard to capture they scurry off quickly at the slightest sound.

    What a long beak this bird has - what is it? You got a great photo for a roadside capture. Great depth of field.
